Hailing from Labrador, Newfoundland, labradorite is known for the fiery play of colours across its surface, known as the Schiller effect or labradoresence. Inuit legend says that a warrior saw the Northern lights trapped in the rocks and struck them with his spear in an effort to free them. Labradorite is known as a stone of transformation and will be of great assistance to those going through changes in life whether by choice or circumstances.
